I was wondering how to file a small claims suit against a creditor that does not have a address in california. Also what address would I use to on the small claims paperwork and how are they served the paperwork?

You can use the out-of-state address on the small claims paperwork. You need to make sure, however, that a California court has jurisdiction over the plaintiff. In addition, service of an out-of-state defendant can be by mail, return receipt requested, pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure Section 415.40.
