Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
I worked for a company as a subcontractor working with drawings done by yet a diffrent subcontractor. The company i worked for is now saying that the other subcontractor work was subpar and they are not getting paid so they cant pay out either. This is for about 23 grand and all i have is a verbal contract though i have plenty of emails from them regarding the work. I have multiple invoices due that are in the range of 3-5 months

You should get paid for the work you did. Try to negotiate something with the company. If not, you might have to resort to taking legal action.
