Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

What is the worst case scenario if you dont respond before the deadline to discovery requests of a collection agency requesting me to do discovery. I called twice to get an extension and no one called me back. It is a collection agency/law firm representing a credit card company who is suing me for a account that is not even mine. I had an account with them 7 years ago, but all of the sudden the bills satrted coming to me about 5 years ago with a different account number. I dont have money for a lawyer and have already filed my answer, been to casemgt conference that they NO SHOWED for.

If the lawsuit is filed in state court, then just get the verified responses to them as soon as you can. The only problem is that you might have waived objections. Please feel free to contact me by e-mail. There might be some resources you can use to have the case dismissed.
