Re: 90 day la county jail sentence
Serving a sentence in LA County is hit and miss, day by day kind of a proposition. On a 90 day sentence you could be released within a day or stay in for half or more of your scheduled time. Everything depends on the overcrowding jail conditions at the time. On a non-serious offense like receiving stolen property chances of early release are generally pretty good unless the judge indicated that there is to be no early release on the sentencing papers.
You need to check with your lawyer on what exactly you can expect and whether it would make sense for you to try to get into some alternative sentencing programs like electronic monitoring or works program. I am not giving you any hard advice or firm predictions here.
