Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
647 (f) pc
I was just arrested for a 647 (f) pc. (Drunk in public) I was arrested for the same thing about a year ago and I just had to pay a fine. I understand it can be worse for a second offense. Is there anything I can do to have it reduced or removed to avoid probation or jail sentence?

Actually, it's the third 647(f) that carries a mandatory 90 days in the slammer.

Yes, it will be tougher for you this time, especially if you are still on probation from the first conviction, but not necessarily the end of the world. A good attorney could get a good result for you.
