Re: 1.5 grams of marijana across border

Where was it taken and by whom? Was it someone in another country, on the ship, border or immigration authority, or a police officer or sheriff?

Then with all that information answered the best that could be done to advise you would be a guess.

On the person's record obtainable by authorites there is usually some information on incidents that were not charged for one reason or the other. Sometimes there are charges against more htan one person with the same name but birth dates that are a decades apart. I know of a case in which there are two people that have the same name, same birthdate, and one was born in Mexico City and the other in Santa Ana. The one has the other's drunk driving case on his sheet.

So when everything is analyzed, whether or not the incident shows up on your record is always going to be purely a guess. Ultimately you're going to have to ask someone to pull your sheet to see what's on it. And crimes, that were never charged nor are there convictions for, are always very suspect as to whether or not you are guilty of them. That's why the question is normally whether or not you were 'convicted.'
