Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

23103 a

I got a non alcohol related reckless

driving charge. The state tried to say

it was ''alcohol related'', but that

''alice in wonderland'' or ''fantasy

make believe'' by the prosecution did

not stick in my case. I was given a

$150 ticket and 18 months

probation. What are the term of

probation for non alcohol related

reckless driving? I paid the fine and

the court clerk said I was all finished.

Re: 23103 a

The Court Clerk should give you a Minute Order listing all the terms of your probation, including any fines and fees that you have to pay. The main thing you must keep in mind is you must not commit another criminal offense while on probation. If you do, you could be re-sentenced to a more severe sentence because you violated your probation.

Hope this helps,
