Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
In 1996, I plead no contest to domestic violence. One of the stipulations was that I could not possess a firearm for 10 years. I heard that a law passed some time ago that this stipulation would be for life. Does this apply to me or people sentenced after this new law went into effect?
