Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

1st offenses - pc32 and pc 148(a)(1)

I recently married a man whom I have just found out has a long criminal history. The Sheriff's Dept. had been looking for him on parole violation and bench warrant for possession. The sheriff's came to my home when I was gone and frightened my 17 year old son into telling them my gentlemen friend had been there (they promised him I wouldn't go to jail)...that night, my gentlemen friend and I were sleeping; 11 armed officers broke into my home and arrested him. My son started convulsing as he has a seizure disorder...I jumpted out of the chair to help him and the officers threw me down, brutalized me and arrested me for the above charges. These officers are now harrassing me off duty at my work. Can I be charged with these crimes as I did not know anything about his past (or present issues) and I didn't interfere with the officers except not to stay seated as my son needed me. My hearing is tomorrow. What is the best approach to having these charges dropped? Please help me asap.

Yes, I believe your situation can be helped. To be helped you need a lawyer. If you can retain a private attorney the judge will give you additional time after your hearing tomorrow to get one, or, if you cannot afford a lawyer, a public defender will be appointed for you.
