Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I have a 20 year old daughter who had sex with a 17 year old boy from her youth group. The youth Pastor has found oout and had to report it to Child Protective Services. We have not been contacted yet but what should we do?

She needs to speak to a criminal defense attorney. You don't have to do anything, since she was 20, and it was her crime and not yours. She's an adult, and it's time for her to learn to be responsible for her actions. I wouldn't pay for her criminal defense attorney either, or I would make her work off what you pay for.
