Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

12 years ago, I was convicted of 647A which in my casa was lewd act in public, but, now every time i get a live scan shows Annoy/Molest children. It just cost me my job. What can I do to change this??. Thank you.

You were apparently convicted of Penal Code 647(a), not 647a (without the parenthesis, now renumbered 647.6). That's a big difference!

You need to contact the California Attorney General and order a copy of your criminal history record (aka rap sheet). When you receive it, you'll also get a form to request corrections of any inaccurate information.
