Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I am 20 years old and my girlfriend is 17, almost 18. We have known each other for years and always been great friends. A couple months ago we started dating.
I am planning on going to her Prom in a month (she will still be 17).
We live in California.
I was wondering if it is legal to dance (not necessarily super cleanly) and kiss her at the dance?

Assuming this is not a joke, it is legal for you you do do what she consents to except for sexual relations, getting her drunk, or doing something that would be considered to be contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
