17 Y/o sister got a public drunkeness, what should I do?

they didn't do a breath test, just stated she was drunk.

Re: 17 Y/o sister got a public drunkeness, what should I do?

Greg, thank you for your inquiry. I believe your sister might have emailed me separately, since the facts of the case are eerily similar.

At any rate, your options are to plead guilty, or get a lawyer and fight the charges. I'd obviously recommend that you fight the charges to prevent your sister from having a "record".

At your sister's arraignment, she will be given an opportunity to get an attorney, or the chance to plead guilty or not guilty. She would be better advised with an attorney who can review all the evidence, speak to the prosecutor and even the judge, and try to resolve this with as little impact as possible.

I hope this helps, but if you have any other questions, or feel you need an attorney, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. I am happy to help in any way that I can.
