Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Hi, I accidently returned a pair of jeans & attached the wrong tags on it. The employee noticed I had stapled the tag on it, so she marked it as defective & gave me my money back in cash. It was an honest mistake, what happens if the employee finds out later that the tags are wrong? Although the pants are the sane brand they sell in the store just different style. Ive thought about going back to the store telling them what happend, but afraid they wont believe it or there probably waiting for me to come back. Im so scared. Please help!

Relax, the odds on anyone doing anything at this point are slim to none.
