accusations

my brother was texting a friend of his he said he was talking to her watevr that means. but in his text he was saying he likes underaged s. i didnt believe it at first till the neighbor showed me. is that against the law he is in jail right on an unrelated charge. is that against the law. the he was texting is 29 and he never did anything to a child. what should i do

Desiring underaged girls is not a crime, and neither is acknowledging such a desire. Of course, acting on those desires would be a very serious offense.

No crime for having desires for little girls but if he could be in trouble if he made a direct solicitation and, of course, if he acted on his desires. Otherwise, nothing to worry about except he needs to be warned how easily he could get himself in trouble, if he makes his desires known to too many people. Fondling little girls is a serious serious crime.
