Hi:

I hope you are having a great evening. I am sorry that happened to you.

You can bring a Civil Suit for money damages depending on the facts. What happened?

You can find out more evidence during the "discovery" phase of the lawsuit. Hopefully, the family has insurance / assets if you win. Please call me. I would like to hear more details.

You may want to talk to a civil attorney regarding the assault. If you like you may cintact us for a FREE CONSULTATION so we may evaluate the merits of your case. On another note, as the victim of an assault, tou may want to contact law enforcement, if you already haven't, to make a police report regarding the incident...I wish you the best...David Wallin

The store will only be liable if the employee was acting within the course and scope of his employment when he assaulted you. The employee is liable regardless of whether the store is also liable.
