felony vehicular manslaughter- can letters of past driving conduct be admissable. I need a case where it was admissable

You mean someone is willing to write a letter to say that you drove a vehicle before and didn't kill anybody? If you are facing sentencing, yes, get all the letters you can. Letters, however, are inadmissible at your trial (for example to attempt to prove you are a safe driver). Live witnesses might help, ask the attorney who is defending you.
