Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
admonish a felony
a friend has a busted for selling marijuana record in california on his record. he was 18 now is 35 with no other records. how can he get this off his record. to move up in his college teaching position they are now doing background checks. he has now been clean & sober for 13 years. we now live in ohio. thank you.

Re: admonish a felony
In Ohio you would have to get the conviction expunged. This has to be done through the court that convicted you. I imagine California law is similar, but you will have to check with a California Attorney.
