adult dating minor
I have a friend whose 18 year old daugter went out on a date with a 15 year old boy. No sexual activity has taken place, neither of them feel anything is wrong with this but both mothers are beside themselves. Exactly what does the law state about this kind of activity?

California law makes it a crime for an adult to have sexual contact (which is a broad concept and is not limited to intercourse) with a minor. Dating which does not involve such contact is legal.
