Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
At age 16 I was in a relationship with my much older boyfriend. My parents had found out about it and reported it to the police. He was charged and convicted as a sex offender. He's currently serving his 3 year probation in California. Im aware that one of his limitations among many is that he can't have any contact with the victim during the probation. Victim being me. Within a few days I will be completing my 18th birthday. Is it possible to do anything on my part to take that restriction off? Or would I have to wait till the end of the probation.

The court made orders and the court is the only one that can make those changes. The fact you don't understand that he did something really wrong is more reason they should restrict him from you.
