The witness knows about a crime. The witness can not disclose information until knowing how the protection will be. The witness can be in serious danger. MWG is sorry for this approch, we understand the impossibility of giving from you the information (so important) requested by us. We thanks anyway. We will think in other ways.

1 Answer from Attorneys
Witnesses have a duty to society to testify truthfully regardless of the perceived peril. Just as any citizen can be drafted to serve in the military and ordered to fight the enemy, any of us can be called upon to do our duty as witnesses. If it were otherwise, all of us would be at the mercy of criminals and thugs. An attorney can do many things to protect witnesses from retribution. When you consult an attorney individually, he or she will keep your information strictly private and confidential and will suggest an appropriate course of action which could include 1) trying to persuade the prosecutor not to call the witness; 2) asking the court to limit the scope of the witness testimony; 3) objecting to improper questions asked of the witness.
Be brave. Don't empower thugs to make you live in fear.
