I am curious. Where would someone go to find someone who can verify and confirm if someone's signature is authentic or forged? What do they charge and most importantly how accurate are they? Thank you

Search for [handwriting expert]. Find out how many times they have testified in court and what their hourly rates are -- you may need them to testify and expert witnesses aren't cheap. Or ask the attorney who is handling your case.

You want what is called a "forensic document examiner." You can search for them on the internet, and their rates vary, but I can tell you that the ones I have used are expensive.
