Email isn't going to help you learn about and understand your options and choices. You need to have a conversation with an experienced criminal lawyer. You have 2 problems: the potential new case, which could be a felony, and a probation violation on the old case. If you'd like to talk to me about this, don't hesitate to call. Good luck. You should NOT speak to anyone, other than your attorney, about the events of the altercations. Do not facebook, or talk on the phone, or put anything in writing. Of course, you should NEVER speak to law enforcement. Contact a qualified criminal defense firm immediately. Many. Like ourselves, offer FREE consultations. As a Former Deputy District Attorney and a Certified Criminal Law Specialist, handling these matters for over 25 years, I can tell you that it's vital that you obtain good representation.........Your future depends on it. You need to surrender on the warrant and the sooner the better, otherwise you will be arrested. The best way to surrender is with the help of a criminal defense attorney. If you cannot afford one after you surrender a public defender will be appointed. If you are represented on the probation matter, you should see that attorney immediately.
Good luck.
