Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was arested in yuba co. ca for a warrent in the neighboring county of butte I was released frome yuba co. and given a court date for butte co. I missed the court date. when I contacted butte co to resolve the problem they told me that I would have to come in and be booked and taken to court when I got there I was told that they couldnt find record of a warrent. I was instructed to come back the following monday at 7:00am when i got there I was told that they still couldnt find my records and to go home and get the papers that yuba co. released me with. and come back to town (35miles one way) my question Is there a limit to how many times they can require me to travel back and fourth trying to find a warrent before they will legally have to give up.

Probably not, but contact them and tell them what the problem is and could they look themselves for the paper work they need and then call you and you will come in.

No. I suggest going to the court and getting copies of the paperwork yourself.
