arraignment
Should I hire an attorney for my arraignment, or is it possible the charges against me will be dropped at this time?

Re: arraignment
Anything is possible, but absent some *very* unusual circumstances you shouldn't expect the charges to be dropped.
It is almost always a good idea to get a lawyer when you are charged with a crime. Because you have said nothing about the charges against you, that's the best I can do.
