Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

arrest report

can anyone tell me what I need to do to obtain the arrest/police report I was arrested for 11550 I tried to obtain report before I went to court opd would not give it to me stating case does not have a disposition so went to court case was rejected by DA and I was discharged they put down missing complaint on minute order went back to opd now they wont give me report stating case is still open because it says missing complaint on the minute order went to DA office and asked for the discovery and was told that because case was rejected they send paper work back to arresting agency and they did not have any paper work only sheet that says case rejected and the case information so I went back to opd for the third time with paper saying case was rejected and now they tell me they do not give out report in this type of cases and would only give me arrest confirmation I was told that my test came back negative

Re: arrest report

Your case was a DA reject. The case is over and you won. Why call attention to yourself by demanding a copy of the police report? If you ever need it for some other court case, you or your lawyer can subpoena it. Now go and sin no more.
