Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i was arrested and charged with possession w/ intent to sell. i have never been on parole or probation and have no criminal background. this was the first time ever being arrested. what deals with the judge offer me?

The judge won't offer you a deal. The district attorney might or might not offer your attorney a deal. Clean criminal records are worth protecting and I strongly recommend you hire a lawyer without delay.

The D.A. does not have to offer you a deal. If he decides to offer one, it doesn't have to be one that you like. You should get a lawyer ASAP. Your lawyer will be better able to bargain with the D.A. than you are, and she will be much better able to defend you if your case goes to trial.
