Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was arrested for a drug possession charge that I had no knowledge of being anywhere in my room. Someone had called cps on me and they came for a welfare check and had called for an officer to be present. There ended up being several officers inside my home. I showed them my child and they continued searching through my bedroom only to find drugs I didnt know about. What do i do about this. They didnt have a search warrant nor did i allow them to look through my belongings and nothing was ever in reach of my child. Helppp

Help? Well...

Unless you know how to effectively defend yourself in court against these criminal charges, and your question demonstrates you don't, then you need to hire an experienced criminal defense attorney before going to court. If you can't afford one, then at your first court appearance [Arraignment] request the judge appoint the Public Defender to your case, and then follow his advice.
