Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was arrested for drunk in public it's my first affense but I have two misdamener convictions 20 years ago I'd like to find out what penalties I'm looking at I'm married with 4 children and long time employment

You're facing a misdemeanor that carries the potential of jail time, but it's rarely imposed. They will likely know about your old convictions, but they shouldn't impact your current case.
Even though it's a pretty low level offense, it's worth it to discuss this with an attorney. They may be able to work something out and get this dismissed without a conviction on your record.
