Whats Happens When Arrested For "Intent To Buy"
I called my friend, an undercover detective answered phone said he was someone else (was recording phone conversation) HE THEN asked ME if i wanted to buy mushrooms, and i said yes. Went to house with a friend, i had $20 in pocket (which police KEPT!) and there we both were arrested for "Intent to buy." We were never read our rights, and were told nothing about our arrest.(spent night in jail) What will be my outcome when i go to court July 6th? and can the police keep my $? This is my 1st offense and I'm only 19. Also cop coerced me into buying drugs, i didn't ask for anything till he mentioned it!

You should keep in mind that internet communications unless encrypted are not conficential. Any thing you send over the internet may be considered a statement and used in court against you.
Your statement is vague. However, it is not a crime to purchase mushrooms, all grocery stores sell them. Unless there was a statement regarding the type of mushroom you should be okay. However, your memory of what was said will be very different that the police officer's recollection.
You should obtain the services of an attorney immediately. If you cannot affor to hire an attorney, at your first court appearance you should request the court to appoint an attorney. Do not discuss your case with anyone but your attorney.
