Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Best For Me
I was arrested for a poss. of meth, and was told that it weighed 0.8 of a gram. Theres no way it could have. It was only a cotton that was previously used in the injecting of the meth. My public defender will not have it retested. 0.8 of a gram would not have fit in the spoon the cotton was in. How can I get him to retest it, or fire him.

You can complain to the Judge that you don't feel the Public Defender is representing you properly by not retesting the sample. If this doesn't resolve it, you may want to retain your own Attorney, and have it retested by him. Call us at (562) 929-7422 to discuss.
