Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i was arrested for possession of marijuana for sale but my computer was also seized in the investigation. during my arrest they made me sign a paper saying that they were seizing my computer to search for illegal activity. my computer was not used as evidence in my case and i have been released and am now on probation till may 2012. can i get my computer back?

If you have been convicted, I see no reason for the police to keep your computer. Have you spoken to your attorney about having it returned?
