Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Hi i was arrested for spousal abuse pc273.5(a) i went to jail so my partner wouldnt lose his job i got bailed out what kind of time am i looking at or is there any way i can get this droped if he doesnt press charges please help vincent

Unfortunately, it is not a matter of whether your partner chooses to press charges, that is up to the District Attorney to handle. The best advice I can give you is to find a good attorney in your area to help you through the system. With the right deal, jail time can be avoided.
