Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I was arrested 3 years ago for an 11377a in San Diego, Ca?.I went to drug classes but lost my car and dropped out. I then moved to the bay area were I went to school for a year, graduated and got clean and am doing great now. Seems I now have warrant in SD that?s 1 year old and do not know what to do. I?m a single mother making very little money. I don?t want to return to SD and would love to sign up for the class again and fight my case from here.

You're going to have to deal with this in San Diego. 11377 can be either a felony or a misdemeanor. If it's a felony, you'll have to appear in court. If it's a misdemeanor, you may be able to have an attorney make the court appearances on your behalf to see about recalling the warrant and getting you a chance at the drug program again.
It's going to be better for you if you take care of this before you get stopped and arrested on the warrant, so start looking into the case now. Contact attorneys in San Diego to see who can help you out.
