You're not going to go to jail tomorrow. You were released from jail while your criminal case takes place which may take 2 to 6 months. Ask the judge for a continuance of the arraignment until after September 5 in order to get a lawyer. Then talk to a criminal lawyer. Most criminal lawyers give free consultations. If your matter is in LA, don't hesitate to call me for a free consultation. Steve Mandell 310 393 0639

A continuance to obtain counsel is considered "good cause", and most judges will give you time to get an attorney. You're not going to go to jail tomorrow. Most criminal lawyers give free consultations, and I'd be happy to meet with you in person, or discuss your case with you in detail over email or the phone if we can't meet. Call my office at 1-877-568-2977, or email me, and I'll help you.
