Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
if someone said they were assualted but didnt report it for 3 weeks and then didnt seek medical treatment for 4 weeks, can this hold up in court?

Sure. It might make the claim harder to believe, but whether to believe it is for the jury to decide. Besides, in most cases there will be more evidence than just the complainant's testimony. Weak testimony is easier for juries to accept when bolstered by other evidence.
