A good criminal defense lawyer. Murder is a very complex crime and trying to explain it can take several hundred pages. It is analogous to asking a doctor:"What do you to cure a person with cancer?"

Re: Attempted Murder

A criminal defendant does not have to prove his innocence; instead, the prosecution must prove his guilt. In many cases the defendant will present evidence in order to persuade the jury not to convict him, but the type of showing which must be made depends upon the facts of the particular crime. Additionally, the defendant need only establish a reasonable doubt about his guilt and need not prove he is actually innocent. There is thus no general answer to your question.
