Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

bad faith arrest

Four hours after being bailed out of jail the arresting officer added a charge to the case and called me to come up the the sheriff's dept. and pick up my keys. When I got ther he arrested me again for the same case. I was arraigned the next morning and the judge order me to be released, stating they had arrested me depriving me of my liberty knowing I had posted bail. They kept me in custody for a week after they were order to release me, doesn't this constitute a bad faith arrest by the police? The officer knew he was going to add the second charge before I bailed out.

Re: bad faith arrest

Sounds like a false arrest to me. Who was the arresting agency? LAPD? or Sheriff?
