Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
bail
i am out on bail,with a first court appearance on june 26th. can i hire an attorney to make the appearance for me, or do I have to appear whether i have an atty,or not. i do not want to appear at the first court date.

If it's a misdemeanor your atty can appear for you, if a felony, you have to show up each time.
