how long does it take to get a bail hearing

It should take approximately 5 court days after request in court.
For the purposes of the bail hearing, defendant is usually interviewed by the probation department. The questioning is limited to issues of defendant's family and other ties in the area and analysis whether he/she presents a flight risk.
