Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

bail

My Son has served over a year at a correctional facility and is training for camp fire. He's release date is 05/09. Is there anything I can do as far as bailing him out?

If your son has been sentenced and is serving time in state prison as a result of his conviction, there is no such thing as bail for him. He has to serve the rest of his sentence until his release date.

Purpose of bail is to stay out of custody while there is an ongoing case, prior to being convicted or exonerated, whatever the case might be.
