Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Bench Warrant - PC594(A)B)2)A)
If someone has a bench warrant out for their arrest, will law enforcement actually come looking for them such as paying a visit to their house or place of employment? Or will they just get arrested if, for example, they get pulled over for speeding and it's discovered they have a warrant? The primary charge related to the warrant is PC594(A)B)2)A), if it matters.

It depends on the jurisdiction and the police force. Smaller places are more likely to to pick up warrants. If this question is for yourself, I would strongly encourage you to go in to court and resolve the warrant. It will catch up with you eventually and it is likely to happen at the worst possible time. The Judge is also more likely to treat you well if you aren't having to be dragged into court by the police. Do yourself a favor and resolve the warrant by appearing in court. If this question is not about you, spread the word to the person that it is about.

It depends on the whim of the court, the police and how busy they are and how serious they think the offense is.
This is going to catch up to you some day guaranteed. Resolve the issue by coming to court voluntarily - no mistake about it. If you can, hire a lawyer to prepare the groundwork for your surrender and possible settlement ahead of time.
