Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
my bf cut a person one night. i handed him the knife, but i had no idea what he was doing with it. hes going to trial and in the beginning said that he pulled the knife from his pocket, but decided to throw me under the bus. can i get in any trouble, even though i was just handing him his own property. i dont like knives

Your already are in trouble. You have a boyfriend, who you do not describe as a former bf, who has told the police you were part of a crime. You do not give us enough details as to what happened, but you may have handed an illegal knife to someone you knew might use it on another person and you did not tell the police about your participation. You need to go to the Public defender or a criminal law attorney to see if you should tell everything you know to the DA in return for immunity from prosecution, or what.
