Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My boyfriend beat me 2 moths ago, he called begging me back..called me he wanted to talk needed my help.when he got me face to face he threaten to kill me and my family if i didn't drop charges. Out of fear i went back cause he knew where all my family lived. But he continue to beat and threaten me, throwing my mail away, my supeons..they were charging him with 6 felony and cause they could reach me the victim they dismissed everything..can the d.a. Reopen the case? Please help..

If the case was never set for trial and the statute of limitations has not lapsed then yes they could. FYI, your story doesn't sound too credible.
