Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
can you help
my boyfriend had a friend that took my boyfriends car and traded it for a new one.well after that happened the guy was herrasing me telling me that he was going to sew me for the 5,000 for the car that broke down and was leaving me messsages on my phone telling me that he was going to make sure that i went back from were i came from etc.well then i went to the police because one day i went to my grandmothers house and i looked out the window and he was parked across the street in his moms van(he didn't have a license)so i think he figured if i saw him and called the cops that he would have gotten caught driving so he left and a couple of minutes came back with his mom driving and then they were parked behined my car. then when i would be at my grand mothers house his mom always came by with different people in the car and they would look over at her house and also the mom came over to my boyfriends house and was talking to my boyfriends mom telling her things about me and she didnt realize that i was listining through the window she told my boyfriends mom that her son knows were my family lives in arizona and that they need to watch out she was making a threat right? so my question is can we do something about this guys mom?

Perhaps you need to look into getting a restraining order against them. At the very least start to document everything that has happened, who was there, what time, everything. Also, see what the police have to say.
