Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
my boyfriend is in jail for being aronud my kids he shall not be in the presence of any minor kids under the age of 18 without a responsble adult present as approved by the probation officer can i be approved and how do i do it
1 Answer from Attorneys
Since it will be the probation officer who will make the final decision, go to him/her and find out what is required. If that is within your ability, you do not have to doing anything further. But if your boyfriend is in jail because of wht he did with a minor(s) why are you allowing him to come close to your children. You may love your boyfriend but you also love your chidlren and have a moral and legal responsibility to them that you do not have to him. Imagine how you would feel if he harmed one of them. Is it worth the risk? You can always have boyfriends, but children can not be replaced.
