Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I my boyfriend is on probation. I recently moved in with him. during a probation search my wallet was searched and i had less than one tenth of a gram of meth in it. I was arrested. I have never been arrested before and my wallet was in an area that was not considered where my boyfriend spent time. Is this legal?

There are factors that, as an attorney, I would want to know : 1) What is your boyfriend on probation for ? ) What are the police going to say is the reason they searched your person ? (They may not be honest about their probable cause to search you ). Our office has handled 100's of cases like yours and these are never simple answers.
