Re: What is the Brady decision?
The Brady decision requires prosecutors to seek out and give to the defense any evidence which is exculpatory. It doesn't directly relate to the officer testifying, but if the Brady evidence is not turned over to the defense, it may be possible to prevent a particular witness from testifying as a remedy for the non-disclosure of the required exculpatory evidence. This is a very complicated area of law with many nuances, and I would seek a consultation with a criminal lawyer in your area and discuss this issue in its entirety.
