Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My brother is currently facing felony charges but is actively seeking to find a program to enter or enlistment. Is that possible? He wanted to join the army prior to getting into trouble but hasn't taken it seriously until now. If it is possible what's the best way to do that?

The Army isn't going to let him enlist with a pending felony charge. He needs to get a decent attorney and defend the felony charge. If he is acquitted, he can join the Army then.
