Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My brother gave me a ride a couple days ago in his work truck. When we returned to where I live a cop car drives in the parking lot not long after. As I was taking my stuff out of the back of his truck they drive really slow to see what I am doing. The next morning my brothers boss calls him into the office to let him know that lapd called him to let him know that one of his workers was at a motel on Ventura blvd with a known felon. They wanted to know why my brother was with me. Can they do this?
